Former Senior DIG Ravi Seneviratne has been appointed as the new Secretary of the Ministry of Public Security.
Ravi Senaviratne was an officer who enjoyed his duties while working in the police department.He functioned as the head of CID and led some investgations on Easter Sunday attacks took place on 21st if April 2019.
So far, the position of secretary of the ministry was held by Viyani Gunathilake.
