The CID has arrested three people for making money by falsifying PCR reports required to be submitted to airport authorities while traveling abroad. They have prepared the fake PCR report similar to the report issued by a leading private hospital.
According to the investigations the suspects have been issuing fake PCR reports for some time, using the same QR code as the records of the leading hospital. It has been revealed that they have issued report at a sum of 6000 LKR and number of people have flew aboard producing these false reports to Katunayake Air Port officials .
The suspects are Muslims living in Minuwangoda and Dharga Town. They will be produced to the courts today .
