Although Sri Lankan T 20 world cup cricket team members claim that they receive step motherly treatment in USA, it has been revealed that the fault lies on Sri Lankan Cricket officials and not on ICC organizers, sources said.
According to the sources told to Lankasara, it has been revealed that the reason for this is that the representative of the Sri Lanka Cricket the controlling body of National Cricket has not asses on the facilities and logistics arrangements which the world cup team to be received.
These sources said that there is an internal criticism on certain SLC official named Chandima Mapatuna is responsible for these failures.
The players could have arranged a hotel near the stadium in New York if they had been informed about this in advance.
Sri Lanka’s opposition leader Sajith Premadasa also issued a statement accusing the ICC of the incident without proper investigation or assessment.
