Exam Invigilator Dies Suddenly at the Examination Center!

In a tragic incident yesterday morning (07), a teacher working as an exam invigilator for the Ordinary Level Examination died at the Wattegama Girls’ College examination centre.

According to reports, the teacher has collapsed just moments before the exam was scheduled to commence.

The Wattegama police have launched an investigation into the incident, awaiting the post-mortem report to determine the exact cause of death.

Witnesses at the examination centre reported that the teacher collapsed while in a room, preparing to distribute question papers to the awaiting students

A group of Wattegama police officers who were on duty at the examination centre took the sick teacher to the Wattegama hospital with the support of those present at the examination centre.

The deceased, identified as KJ Silva, was a respected 48-year-old teacher from the Katugastota area.

The Wattegama police are diligently investigating the circumstances of this tragic event.
