The Department of Railways reported a disruption in the train operation this morning (01) caused by the collapse of an earth mound on the railway line between Diyatalawa and Haputale railway stations.
The incident occurred around 6 AM, leading to a delay in the upland railway operation. Authorities have initiated the process of removing the earth mound to restore normal train services. Commuters are advised to expect delays during this period.
