Twenty-eight (28) members of the Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) who voted for Dallas Alahapperum in the recent poll to elect the president from among members of Parliament have decided to act as a separate group in Parliament.
In addition to the 28 in this group, 05 more people who voted for Dallas Alahapperum have come forward to discuss with him to form a new party under the leadership of Dullas Allahapperumna.
Internal sources say that preliminary discussions have already been held and concluded.
