Dilith Jayaweera Nominated to National List Of Sarva Jana Balaya

The leader of the Sarva Jana Bala Party, Dilith Jayaweera, who was defeated while contesting in the Gampaha District, has been nominated for the party’s sole National List seat.

The party’s General Secretary, Ranjan Seneviratne, informed the Election Commission about the nomination.

The Sarva Jana Bala Party secured 178,006 votes in the election but failed to win any parliamentary seats. Key members of the party, including Dilith Jayaweera, Udaya Gammanpila, Dilum Amunugama, and Daham Sirisena (son of Maithripala Sirisena), were all defeated.
