Political sources say that Diana Gamage, a Member of Parliament for the Samagi Jana Balawegaya National List, is campaigning among MPs to vote in favour of the 20th Amendment to the Constitution in Parliament today.

Political sources told Lankasara that she is currently in discussions with the parliamentarians and that her husband Captain Senaka Silva is also involved in this.

She had not attended the meeting held in the afternoon led by Sajith Premadasa and is expected to vote in favour of the 20A taking side of the government.

In addition, Ratnapura District MP Hesha Vithanage and Badulla District MP Chaminda Wijesiri were also present at the ruling party meeting this morning amid rumors that they would vote for the 20th Amendment.
