Dhammika Perera will be the next presidential candidate of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, a former senior minister of the Sri Lanka People’s Front told Lankasara.
Accordingly, Dhammika Perera became a member of the SLPP with the intention of embarking on a long political journey, said the former Minister.
He said that there were plans to reorganize the SLPP in a new format and after that the SLPP and the political parties and organizations would contest the elections in a joint alliance.
According to the minister who revealed this, stated that Basil Rajapaksa will lead the program to strengthen the People’s Front and will begin reorganization activities on his instructions.
