Vavuniya Public Health Inspectors point out that the large influx of Hindu devotees from the North to the main cities to buy items for the Deepavali celebrations has been a major obstacle to the fight against corona.
They say people who come to the city to buy things, including textiles and food, do not follow any health procedures.
Health inspectors say that people who come to the cities not only do not follow hygienic procedures but also shop owners do not pay much attention to them and that they have reported all the information to the health authorities.
