The curfew will be extended to the Western Province and several other areas from 5 am tomorrow to November 9 Army Commander Shavendra Silva said.
The Commander also said the quarantine curfew will be in effect in the Eheliyagoda police area, the Kurunegala municipal council area and the Kuliyapitiya police area in the Ratnapura district until November 9.
Earlier, a curfew was imposed from midnight on October 29 to 5 am tomorrow.
