Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Prof. W.D.A Lakshman and several high ranking officials have been quarantined.
The officials were quarantined after it was revealed that an employee of a Central Bank canteen has been diagnosed with the coronavirus infection. The worker had tested positive for Covid 19 on Wednesday (17). According to sources the employee is a resident of Gampaha.
However, the day to day activities of the Central Bank are going on as usual, a spokesman for the CB said.
