President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has appointed Dr Nandala Weerasinghe as the new Central Bank Governor and K.M.M Siriwardana as the Secretary to the Finance Minister, the President Media Division said.
Both will assume duties on Friday (Tomorrow) . Dr Nandala Weerasinghe was in Australia for a private visit while he was invited by the president. He came back to Sri Lanka this evening and met the president sources said. .
