Bus fares will be revised from midnight today following the recent fuel hike.
The recommendations of the National Transport Commission regarding the revision of bus fares to be implemented from tomorrow have been handed over to the Minister yesterday (29).
According to the recommendations, bus fares will increase by around 22 percent, and the minimum fare will be Rs. 40 from the current Rs. 32.
From November 11 last year, the rates have been raised 5 times by 87 percent in 7 months.
