A heavily drunken British national was arrested while driving a jeep and causing an accident in Habaraduwa .This foreign national resides in Habaraduwa area and he was driving his jeep towards Galle after drinking alcohol.
In Habaraduwa city, the Englishman was unable to control the jeep and the vehicle he was driving collided with a car. He was arrested and was scheduled to be brought to court under the charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and failing to avoid an accident.
Investigations were conducted under the leadership of OIC of Habaraduwa Police Ashoka Karunaratne.
