The Examination Department has urged all candidates to be prepared for potential natural disasters.

The Commissioner General of Examinations, Amit Jayasundara, mentioned that 117 of the Disaster Management Center can be contacted for any disaster-related problems.

Addressing recent disaster incidents, he commented:

“There were reports of a flood situation last Thursday and Friday. During that time, the Disaster Management Center, along with the Sri Lanka Army and other teams, quickly responded to support the students taking exams. Thankfully, all the students were able to take their exams without any issues. I want to remind everyone to be extra cautious about the weather in the upcoming days. If there is rain in your area, it’s important to be prepared ahead of time.”
