Former Minister Basil Rajapaksa has met the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Prime Minister’s Office this afternoon (05).
The Sri Lanka People’s Front Media Center states that the 21st Amendment to the Constitution to be presented to Cabinet tomorrow was the center of the discussion today. Mr Rajapaksa was accompanied by 12 SLPP parliamentarians sources further said.
When contacted by Justice Minister Wijedasa Rajapaksa, he told Lankasara that Basil Rajapaksa’s party had made lengthy inquiries into the 21st Amendment.
The main point of the forthcoming 21st Amendment was the denial of the right of dual citizens to represent Parliament.
