An animated discussion between the leaders of the Sri Lanka People’s Front (SLPP) and the leaders of organizations affiliated with that front is likely to take place at the party office at Nelum Mawatha, Battaramulla today.
Representatives of youth organizations, women’s organizations, trade unions and the Local Government Forum of the SLPP will participate.
A spokesman for the SLPP told Lankasara that former Minister Basil Rajapaksa, the National Organizer of the SLPP, will preside over the meeting.
The spokesman further said that the government is ready to pay more attention to the current socio-economic and political issues that have arisen in the country.
