Army Commander Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva says that the people of Atalugama could be isolated for a while if they do not support the health sector and take action to protect their area.
The Army Commander further stated that the entire Kalutara District will not be allowed to be threatened due to the actions of a group living arbitrarily.
“They have to take action to protect their area and their people. Otherwise Atalugama will have to be isolated for a while. We will not allow any threat to the surrounding towns and the Kalutara District due to the arbitrary ways of a group of people living in one village.” he said.
