Southern Provincial Governor Dr. Willi Gamage has announced the temporary suspension of the 2024 annual transfers for government institutions under the purview of the Southern Provincial Assembly.
This decision comes amidst the prevailing economic challenges and ongoing appeals. However, transfers between locations based on mutual agreement will still be facilitated. Dr. Gamage emphasized that officers seeking transfers to locations facing emergencies will be accommodated.
