All shops will be remained closed from 11 pm today (13) till 4 am on Monday(17) Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated .
He further pointed out that people should stay indoors during that time and the identity card methodology will not be applicable during these 3 days.
Transportation is permitted during this period only for essential services.In addition, patients will be able to travel to a hospital or to the nearest pharmacy to purchase medication. However pharmacies are allowed to operate delivery services.
DIG Ajith Rohana emphasizes that no one other than such activities is allowed to go out during these three days.
Mr. Ajith Rohana also stated that after the end of these three days, the identity card system will be operational from next Monday.
