All offices including the head office of the Department of Labor and District offices (EPF-ETF), will be closed on Fridays until further notice due prevailing crisis. Labor Commissioner General Prabath Chandrakeerthi said this measure was taken in order to limited resources and transportation difficulties for workers due to the crisis.
The Commissioner General of Labor said in a press release that the move was made in accordance with Public Administration Circular 10/2022 and that his office services would be open from Monday to Thursday and closed on Fridays from 03/06/2022 until further notice.
All Labor offices will be closed on Fridays until further notice !
