Discussions have begun to launch a new political alliance led by Former Minister Dullus Alahapperuma and a number of activists from main political parties are set to join the new alliance Political sources revealed to Lankasara.
According to them this formation is aimed on upcoming election.
A Member of Parliament for the People’s Alliance (PA), which is committed to building the new alliance, told Lankasara that a final decision on the logo of the new alliance has not yet been made and that its color may be yellow.
He said that this was the largest and largest alliance ever formed in Sri Lanka and that it would bring together party leaders as well as many elites from various walks of life in the country in a way that no one expected.
