.A seven year old boy and his 37 year father has been succumbed to death following after falling into a DSI treatment plant tank in Bataduwa, Akmeemana this afternoon (15).
The deceased has been identified as a 37 – year – old father who is an employee of the factory and a 7 – year – old his son, who are residents of Thalgampola, Akmeemana .The deceased was an executive officer of the company. Investigations have revealed that he had fallen into the water tank while supervising the the site.
Police say that there is contaminated water in this refinery tank.
His wife is pregnant and she works as a Development Officer in the Yakkalamulla Divisional Secretariat.
The autopsy of the deceased father and son was scheduled to be held at the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital today (15).
