A special meeting of party leaders is scheduled to be held today (14) under the chair of Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardane. The meeting was convened to take a decisions regarding several issues parliament sources said.
In the parliamentary session starting from the 20th, attention is to be given to the issues that should be prioritized.
Holding a parliamentary debate regarding the Staff level agreement signed between the International Monetary Fund and the Government of Sri Lanka, discussing the dates for the local government elections, and several other matters are to be discussed and a final agreement is to be reached here.
