Secretary of the new government’s Ministry of Justice, Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils, Local Government, and Labor Pradeep Yasaratne, who took over on the 24th, has resigned from that position Ministry sources said
Pradeep Yasaratne, who was the secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration before this appointment, has not yet revealed the immediate reason behind his resignation.
However, it is stated that he came to his ministry office yesterday (27) and informed the higher officials that he would leave.
Pradeep Yasaratne once served as the Colombo District Governor as well as the Western Province Secretary.
