A 14-year-old boy was apprehended following a shooting at the upscale Siam Paragon shopping center in Bangkok. Initially, authorities reported three fatalities in the tragic event, but a subsequent update clarified that two individuals had lost their lives.

The victims were confirmed to be from China and Myanmar, while an additional five people sustained injuries in the incident, creating a sense of shock and concern.

The teenage suspect is said to be a student at a school in proximity to the shopping center. His motives for carrying out the shooting remain unknown.
