02 STF and Navy soldiers were arrested for sexually assaulting a school girl in a bus.
A police constable of the Police Special Task Force and an ex-navy soldier who sexually harassed a school girl in a bus have been arrested by the Ja-Ela Police.
The police said that the two accused members of the security forces had sexually harassed this school girl while she was traveling in a passenger transport bus from Negombo to Kandana.
Police said that the police constable who has been arrested is attached to the Police Special Task Force of the Kalubowila camp.
It is also reported that the arrested ex-navy soldier is a 51-year-old resident of Matale area.
The Ja-Ela Police further said that the two arrested suspects are scheduled to be produced in court today (12).
