Victor Ratnayake on the way to recovery

Veteran singer Victor Ratnayake’s health condition has improved according to his son, Lelum Ratnayake. The 78-year-old Victor Ratnayake has been receiving treatment in the ICU of a private hospital in Colombo after complications arose following a surgery. His condition was earlier announced by his son as being critical after suffering a stroke while in hospital. 

Lelum has been providing his father’s fans with updates on his health condition through videos posted on his personal youtube channel. Posting an update yesterday Lelum who is also a musician said the doctors are now positive of Ratnayake’s recovery and his condition is returning to normalcy.
