Suvasarya Makes Historic Leap with Integration of AI Technology in Ambulances
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Suvasarya has set a new milestone by integrating ambulances with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, marking the first instance of such implementation in Asia. The innovative move was unveiled during the 1990 Suvasarya event.

The integration aims to enhance emergency medical services by leveraging mixed reality and AI technologies, connecting the ambulance directly with medical professionals. Unlike previous methods relying on phone communication, this advanced integration promises to strengthen Suvasarya’s mission to save lives.

Suvasarya expressed gratitude to Wavenet, the company collaborating on this initiative, and Microsoft for providing crucial technical support. The plan is to launch this integration as a pilot project initially in the Colombo and Jaffna districts, with eventual plans for island-wide implementation.

During the event, Minister Ramesh Pathirana assured the fulfillment of a request to provide a living expenses allowance of 10,000/= to Suvasarya employees.

Special acknowledgment was extended to Mr. Dumindra Ratnayake, who volunteered to lead Suvasarya’s operations in 1990, and Mr. Sohan de Silva, Chief Executive Officer of Suvasarya, along with the dedicated staff and board of directors committed to providing essential services around the clock for the country.
