He was known for his hits such as Awanhalaka Ipadi Ma, Deega Noyan Raththarane, Lowama Hada Kiya, Mage Sitha Sihina Wiman, Maha Sayure Gamburu Diye and Mal Sinawakin Obe Muwe. He was a resident of 4th lane, Kurana, Negombo.
