A man who arrived for an Indian film shoot at the BMICH in Colombo has been found dead in a washroom on the premises.
The deceased, identified as 52-year-old Alagar Karappu Sami, a resident of Rattota in Matale, had taken part in the film shoot portraying a parliamentarian.
The Indian film, starring well-known Tamil actors Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, had selected the BMICH as a key location to depict a parliamentary setting.
According to reports, the man was found collapsed inside a washroom and was rushed to hospital. However, he did not survive.
