Under the chairmanship of Minister of Local Medicine Mr. Sisira Jayakodi, the Phoenix Homeopathic Private Hospital was recently inaugurated.
The hospital, considered the first homeopathic private hospital in Sri Lanka with modern facilities, is located near Kadawata Aldeniya Church. Dr. Chatura Chaturasinghe, a registered homeopathic physician with over four years of experience, initiated the hospital after studying homeopathic medicine at the National Institute of Homeopathy in Calcutta, India, with a scholarship from the Ministry of Local Medicine.
Phoenix Hospital provides homeopathic medical treatment, psychological treatment, and psychiatric consultation services. The facility is staffed with qualified and experienced medical and nursing professionals specializing in homeopathic medicine. Dr. Nayanaka de Alvis, a renowned homeopath, has also joined Phoenix Hospital. Dr. Chatura Chaturasinghe expressed gratitude to Minister Sisira Jayakodi for supporting the hospital’s establishment, aiming to promote homeopathic medicine and offer swift recovery to patients in Sri Lanka.
