A soldier attached to an Army camp in Gelioya has been arrested by the Police for sexually abusing his two daughters and son. The arrest was made by the Katugastota Police.
According to the Police, the two daughters are both under 12 years and his son is said to be 14 years old. Police said the children themselves had complained against their father after being unable to handle the abuse meted out to them.
Investigations have revealed that the mother of the children knew of the abuse but had not taken any action due to fear.
