Colombo Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena today (June 3) issued an order prohibiting former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and two military officers, Mohommed Ansar and Premananda Udalagama, from traveling overseas in connection with the ongoing investigation into the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks.

The Magistrate also directed the Court Registrar to immediately forward the order to the Controller General of Immigration and Emigration for implementation.

The order was issued when the case, in which former Director of the State Intelligence Service (SIS), retired Major General Suresh Saleh, has been named as a suspect in connection with the series of Easter Sunday terrorist attacks, was taken up before the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today.
