More Police areas to be locked down from tomorrow

Maradana, Fort, Pettah, Slave Street and Dam Street Police Divisions in the Colombo District have been designated as Lockdown Areas from 5.00 am tomorrow (16).

The 12 police divisions currently designated as isolated areas in the Colombo District will remain the same.
The 12 areas are as follows.

1.Mattakkuliya
2. Modara
3.Blumendel
4. Kotahena
5.Grandpass
6. Foreshore Police Station
7. Aduruppu Street
8.Maligawatta
9.Dematagoda
10. Wellampitiya
11.Keselwatta
12. Borella

Meanwhile, the Government Information Department stated that the Kelaniya Police Division in the Gampaha District will also be designated as an isolated area from 5.00 am tomorrow.

Negombo, Ja-Ela, Ragama, Kadawatha, Wattala and Peliyagoda police divisions in the district will remain isolated areas.

In addition to those police divisions, the other isolated police divisions in the Gampaha District were released in isolation from 5.00 am today (15), the Government Information Department said.
