The Police is set to deploy policemen in civvies to arrest violators of social distancing regulations. According to Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana the operation will commence from tomorrow (29).
Rohana said that it has been noticed that social distancing is not taken seriously by the public, especially in certain areas in Colombo. According to him members of the public violating the rules will be arrested and sent to quarantine centers.
