It is reported that the UNP leader has decided to nominate Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene for the only National List seat that the party has received. According to sources Ranil Wickremesinghe has decided that future UNP leader Ruwan Wijewardene should hold the party’s only national list seat.
It is reported that the approval of the UNP Working Committee has not been obtained yet and it will be approved at the next Working Committee meeting.
