Although all MOH centers in the Gampaha district are open for vaccinations for adults over 60 years of age and pregnant mothers who have not received any dose of the Covid vaccine, very little attendance has been attended to the program, Gampaha health sources told to Lankasara.
All the Medical Officers’ Offices in the Gampaha District are said to be preparing for this purpose.
“There are 12 vaccines in one package of the Covshield vaccine. You need to find 12 adults to open this set of 12 vaccines. It has become a very difficult task to find twelve persons together.
We found a list of 64 adults throughout the day and were only able to walk to Minuwangoda and vaccinate 12 people, ”a Gampaha district health official told Lankasara.
