Underworld figure Kudu Anju who is now operating from Dubai has issued death threats to the Mount Lavinia ASP. Kudu Anju is said to be connected to a Sri Lanka Podhujana Peramuna electoral candidate from the Colombo district and has taken on the responsibility of the candidate’s security.
Kudu Anju had called the ASP from Dubai and threatened to have him and his family killed. According to sources, an enraged Kudu Anju had called the ASP after one of his lackeys ‘Konda Janiya’ was arrested recently in connection to a shooting at the Ratmalana Lakmedura restaurant.
Konda Janiya who is also the main suspect of the killing of Ranjan Silva, the father of cricketer Dhananjaya Silva had shot at the restaurant after the owner had refused to give Rs. 500 000 for the social welfare work of the SLPP politico connected to the underworld figure.
