Two unauthorized pistols were found in the possession of MP Rishad Bathiudeen’s associates when the Police arrested three persons, including a police constable deployed for the MPs protection for allegedly assisting MP Rishad Bathiudeen to go into hiding.
Police have confiscated the two unlicensed pistols and are investigating.
The accountant who was ordered to be arrested by the Attorney General and the driver of MP Rishad Bathiudeen was also arrested.
