TNA crisis deepens

The Central Committee of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) has decided to convene immediately as the crisis in the party has intensified.

Accordingly, the TNA Central Committee meeting scheduled to be held in Vavuniya on September 26 will be held on August 29 instead, the General Secretary of the party K. Thuraisingham said.

Failure to seek the consent of the majority of the party in appointing a person to the National List of the TNA, Decision to remove MP Sumanthiran from the post of spokesperson and hand it over to MP Selvam Adaikalanathan, 

Removal of Sridharan from the post of National Organizer of the party and handing it over to Siddharthan the injustice done to Shashikala Nadarajah is expected to be discussed at the meeting. 

The Central Committee meeting will be attended by the Leader of the Tamil National Alliance, all members of the North and East of the party and the Deputy Chairman of the party CVK Sivagnanam General Secretary K. Thuraisingham.
