A delegation led by Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) General Secretary Tilvin Silva left for New Delhi, India, this morning.
They are visiting India on an invitation from the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and are scheduled to travel to the states of Gujarat and Kerala after their visit to New Delhi.
The delegation will hold discussions with the Chief Ministers of these states and is also scheduled to visit centres related to agricultural, industrial, and technological development in India.
Members of Parliament Karunanathan Ilankumaran and Kitnan Selvaraj are also part of the delegation.
