It is reported that three Police officers including a Woman Chief Inspector of the Parliamentary Police have been transferred from the police in connection with an incident where they had checked the personal bag of a VIP. The officers are being accused of obstructing the activities of the VIP.
While the VIP was on his way to the Parliament premises, his security guard had taken his bag holding the VIPs personal belongings and was about to enter the Parliamentary entrance when the Police had requested to check the back. Sources said the three cops were thereafter transferred on the orders of the Acting IGP.
