The ten parties sitting as independent groups in Parliament are ready to vote for the Ranil Wickremesinghe government to pass the emergency laws.

Premanath C.Dolawatte said that he would vote in favour of the emergency laws to provide the necessary support to the security forces to maintain law and order in the country and to control the situation where the children of the members of the security forces are to be denied education. Dolawatta has said.

He said after a meeting of the Parliamentarians of the ten parties.

Wimal Weerawansa has reportedly said there is a conspiracy hatched to subjugate the country by the imperialist forces and that he decided to resist that conspiracy.
