Tamil National Alliance (TNA) MP M.A Sumanthiran questioned today by the Police over his participation in the P2P protest held recently to highlight the plight of the Tamils in the country. Sumanthiran said officers from several Police stations in the North and East visited his office today (22) morning to obtain statements from him.
Earlier MPs Maon Gansean and Shanakyan Rasamanickam were also questioned by the Police over the protests.
