The maid who worked at the house of Sudharma Nethicumara has reportedly died under mysterious circumstances while in police custody.

Sudhrma Nethicumara, who is a character that created controversy in the country recently for her alleged behaviour, lives in the Royal Garden Premises down the Cooray Mawatha in Rajagiriya.

Last evening, Sudharma Nethicumara lodged a complaint with the Welikada police, saying that the maid who worked for her had stolen a number of gold items, including her ring.

The maid, Rajakumari, was a resident of Badulla Demodara Nawalawatte, and she was 42 years old.

At the time of filing this complaint, this woman was working as a maid in another house on Cotta Rd., Borella.
