Altering the previous statement that the President assured for uninterrupted power supply from today (05th) now Janaka Rathnayake, Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission, says it would happen only that if the fuel is received properly for power generation. According to the chairman Rathnayake as the government pledged to minimize poer cuts from today the scheduled power cuts may not take place or reduced depending on the fuel stocks received by the Power producers.
Commenting to the media the Public Utilities Commission says it will receive a reduction in power cuts based on hypothetical fuel stocks. Today
