Sri Lanka is not a gambling or dumping ground – A protest in front of Dhammika’s mansion

A group of peaceful protesters staged a demonstration this morning (12) in front of the house of Dhammika Perera who will replace Basil Rajapaksa Colombo 07,

Protesters protested in front of Dhammika Perera’s spacious house on the site of the old Australian embassy in front of the Colombo Museum, saying Sri Lanka is not a casino to gamble with their future.

“We do not want a casino king – we do not want a garbage dhammika”,

“Is the Casino King in Parliament?”

“Dhammika who brought garbage – the scholar who spit on the country”

“You pay your taxes,”

The protesters were carrying placards saying, “Sri Lanka is not a casino, do not gamble with our future.”
The protesters dispersed peacefully after nearly an hour.
