India denies that some media reports stating that authorities in Sri Lanka declined a request by India to use the Sri Lankan airspace for a Joint Military Exercise with a third country.
The spokesman of the High Commission of India says no such request has been made by India and the reports are factually incorrect.
“For the purpose of joint military exercise with a third party, India didn’t request for Sri Lankan airspace in the recent past ” He further stated.
